This is going to be published in the Philadelphia Cartoonist Society annual this year. I had a lot of fun doing this. It took me freaking FOREVER, and this is version 2, because version 1 burned with my old house last month.
Anyway, I am very happy with it. I'll have order info up when the PCS book comes out in a month or two. There's a bunch of really talented guys and gals in there. Please full view to see the whole story. Daily DeviationGiven 2006-10-26The Story of Cruel Fredrik is not only a brilliantly told tale, it's a comic with a moral... the mother of all morals at that. The excellent pacing leaves the viewer with plenty of time to be completely appalled by little Fredrik's naughtiness before relishing in the abrupt and fitting finale. Liquidy lineart and fabulous gray tones also play their parts well in this story. Don't miss out on the rest of ~liliesformary's unique artwork! (Featured by $y2jenn) |
